I was unable to pedal fast enough to keep up with the bike (over 100 cadence).
Replacing the 48 tooth cog with this 52 tooth reduced the cadence to about 80 which made this a really great 26" bike. It cleared (only just) the frame and controller box on the down tube. I could only use the outside plastic protector due to clearance.
