Communication with the company was good and earned me an extra discount! The eTrike was well packaged and assembly instructions were very good - had it up and running within 4hrs. Its well made and well designed as a kit - anyone with some bike maintenance knowledge can easily assemble it. It has a powerful motor and quite a different ride to a 2-wheeler as it has to be steered - more like a quad bike. My dog and are going to have a lot of fun with it...

Shipment of the new battery was prompt, the quality was good and the conversion of the terminals on the Leitner bike were easy. Great product.

Very well put together kit, easy to follow instructions with already basic knowledge and tools. Special tools are required e.g crank puller.

And some extra bolts to fit light / mud guards added on, but works great . Plenty of power decent range. And is good that some parts are optional to install incase you run into issues such as gear leavers and brake leavers being attached together . Definitely recommend for the price and payment options

Fits with the zipper on the underside for my bike. I got one of those MY1016Z2 motor ebike conversion kits and the hole in the bag fits the 3-pin charger plug perfectly. More importantly, fits two Century 12V 7aH batteries in series to make up the 24V and the controller. Thank you so much. 5-stars for all. A++++++

Goes well pulls up hills nicely!

I finally got around to installing the kit a couple of weekends ago, it is absolutely amazing. The power delivery is smooth and effortless. In the factory setting of combined pedal assist/electric throttle, I found the power came on a bit too hard. Switching to full electric control allows you to modulate the power via the twist throttle, allowing a level of control that is not available on pedal assist mode. This seems to be the case with other bikes I have ridden also.
I decided not to use the little knapsack provided for housing the controller and wiring, after realising that the controller would dissipate heat better by being out in the breeze. It seems to be well waterproofed as are all the wire connections. It may look a little more industrial, but it does allow for a more positive clamping of all the wiring and the controller.
Overall I am very impressed by the quality and the relative ease of installation. The bike was a lot of fun before electrifying it, but now it is a whole new level. I can’t stop looking for excuses to ride it!

Fast responses from TDR Moto - Fast to post and quick to answer emails. The kit arrived well packaged (and all packed together to avoid lost parts). Super easy to fit and all plugs are colour coded for plebbians like myself to follow. I wish there was a tickbox option at checkout to order a larger controller box as it would have been good to have the spare space to stash the excess wiring. But that's probably more of an advice thing I'd like to offer to other buyers. "get a box that's around 200x70x70 if you want to tuck the wiring in"

350w kit, 13ah battery on a 26" mountain bike, 1(38t)x7 gearing. PAS1&2 only when needed (so not on all the time) and hit 130km distance with 1 bar left. Use it when you need it and you can easily smooth out your commute or leisurely ride. I use it as PEDAL ASSIST and not like a moped, expecting power all the time with no effort.

The motor is surprisingly powerful and battery has ample capacity. I'm considering buying a second kit for another bike.
